Intensive case management for mothers struggling with sobriety. The client must either be under substance abuse treatment or completed in the last year. This 18-month program involves weekly contact to facilitate communication, coordination and collaboration with their service provider.

Pregnant individuals and parents of infants who have Apple Health/ Medicaid health insurance are eligible to receive: assistance applying for SNAP/ Basic Food benefits, Childcare Subsidy, and PFML benefits; nutritionist advice; help accessing medical and behavioral health care; and monthly gift cards for participating in Culturally Responsive Integrated & Strength-Based Parenting (CRISP) classes.

A free, supportive program for women having their first baby. When you enroll in NFP, you are connected with your own personal nurse who visits with you during pregnancy and until your baby turns two years old. This program has been proven to benefit the health and well being of families. First time low-income moms in Whatcom County can enroll in the program prior to their 28th week of pregnancy.

Tender Transitions is a 6-week support group designed for newly postpartum moms. The group offers mindfulness tools for navigating postpartum, supportive discussions, and practical strategies for the transition to motherhood. Meeting location varies, see website for details.

Sangha Mamas are a group of mamas and grand-mamas who share a common intention to practice the dharma and to be present for adventures in parenting. Available via Zoom.

After attending your first Village Circle group, you are welcome to join the private Facebook group. A space for Villagers to stay connected, while being mindful of the guidelines that keep the Village Circle groups feeling like a brave space to share.

An award winning, evidence‐informed home visitation case‐management model for pregnant and parenting moms with substance use disorders. This program serves pregnant and parenting moms who are self-disclosing to engaging in substance use during pregnancy. Pregnant and parenting moms may be admitted to the program from pregnancy or up to 24 months postpartum

Peer support group for birthing parents in recovery from substance use disorder, held twice monthly on Zoom.

A parent-to-parent breastfeeding support organization. La Leche League supports all human milk feeding, including, but not limited to breastfeeding, chestfeeding, expressing milk (pumping), bottle feeding expressed milk, mixed feeding, and supplementing at the breast.

Providing evidence-based information on the benefit or risk of medications and other exposures during pregnancy and while breastfeeding, including medications, vaccines, chemicals, herbal products, substances of abuse, maternal health conditions and much more. This no-cost information service is available to people who are pregnant and/or breastfeeding, their family members, health professionals, and the general public via chat, text, phone, and email in both English and Spanish.
