Weekend Backpack Program - Blaine Food Bank

In an effort to ensure that all children have access to food during the weekend the Blaine Food Bank is proud to partner with Wild Bird Charity and the Blaine School District to provide the food for three meals a day, as well as snacks, each weekend for children in the Blaine community who face hunger. State Food Assistance Program - Bellingham Community Services Office (DSHS)

Provides benefits to legal immigrants who are not eligible for the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), called Basic Food in Washington, solely because of immigration status. Households that include a person eligible for FAP receive the same amount of food benefits they would receive for this person if they were eligible for SNAP.
