Designed for children ages 0-6 and their adult(s). Wild Things is a place-based community program that visits local parks each month to see what nature has to offer.

Summer camp programs for grades 1-8. Activities include all-day outdoor adventures, mentor-facilitated learning and discovery, and wilderness skills development.

Extends the knowledge of WSU research and benefits of horticulture to the Whatcom County community through courses, partnerships, and other resources. Includes the Master Gardener program, the We Grow Garden, and more.

A cohort-style outdoor education program for youth in grades 2 - 12. Outings focus on developing naturalist knowledge, cultivating leadership skills, and creating lasting connections to nature and community.

Local youth development clubs to grow physical, mental, and emotional health. Clubs participate in a wide variety of activities, often focused on nature, farming, science, and culture.

An after school program that connects kids with the outdoors through exploration, play, art, and nature activities. Available for grades K-5.

Program for children ages 3-5 who are potty-trained. Children spend time connecting with and learning about our local natural environment as well as getting used to group dynamics and following instructions.

A seasonal program offered to Max Higbee members that incorporates outdoor skills such as environmental stewardship, map reading and navigation, plant identification, healthy hiking snacks, and trail games.
