Operation School Bell - Assistance League of Bellingham

Provides new school clothing and shoes to students in need in K through 12 grades. Referrals made through Whatcom County School Districts in the fall. Teen Team program, operating under Operation School Bell, is a voucher program for homeless high school students identified by the homeless high school coordinators.

Blaine Family Service Center - Blaine Middle School

Strengthening families and students by helping them with basic needs and linking them to local resources. Resources include basic needs, such as food, clothing and housing; school supplies; energy assistance; GED and ELL classes; family literacy; domestic violence resources; and medicaid enrollment.

Gotcha Covered - The Whatcom Dream

Program to help Whatcom Dream Financial Empowerment Course Graduates purchase school clothing and supplies for their children. Participants can purchase a $100 gift card for only $25. Proceeds go into a scholarship fund, which allows Whatcom Dream to offer Financial Empowerment courses for free. \xa0

Back2School Boost - Blue Skies for Children

Provides children ages 6-18 in need with new socks, shoes, and backpacks. Primary program is a week-long event before the school year. During the school year, inquire with Blue Skies.

Mount Baker Family Services - Mount Baker High School

Assists families with resources, information and problem solving to help their children succeed in school. Meridian Family Support Center - Irene Reither Elementary School

Can assist with basic needs such as food, clothing, hygiene supplies and more. Families who would like to visit the clothing closet, which includes clothing for both kids and adults, should call to make an appointment.
