If a forensic interview is requested by law enforcement for a child ages 3 - 17 who is a victim of abuse, you will be interviewed by a Child Interview Specialist.

Provides an array of advocacy and case management services to Nooksack children and families involving child welfare, domestic violence, sexual assault, and elder abuse. Programs include Indian Child Welfare Program and Independent Living, Extended Foster Care, Tl’ils Ta’á’altha Program, Men and Boys Outreach and Advocacy Program, Supervised Visitation and Safe Exchange Program, and Child Protection Team.

Week-long overnight summer camps for children ages 6-11 who have been or currently are in foster care.

On-going therapy services provided for any child victim who has received services from Dawson Place, up to the age of 22 depending on the needs of the client. Group, individual, and family therapy sessions also available.

Provides direct representation to immigrant survivors of violence seeking immigration benefits. While this unit handles several hundred immigration cases per year, the demand for assistance continues to be greater than the available resources meaning there is a long waitlist for clients seeking help.

Victim advocates support child victims of abuse and families throughout the entire process. They offer emotional support, victim's rights information, assist in finding resources, and provide help every step of the way.

A child-friendly center located in Bellingham, WA. The CAC provides a place in which a team of trained professionals interview and support children who may have been abused.

Helps adults or adolescents who have been affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, assault & battery, survivor of homicide, and child abuse.
